The UA770 Coreless is a rewinder for coreless winding of media with a web width up to 77cm. The inner diameter of the wound rolls is approx. 33mm. The pneumatically activated one-sided tension shaft holds the material securely and reduces the outer diameter after the winding process so that the roll can be easily removed. A retrofit kit for chucking 39mm and 2″ diameter sleeves is available as an option. The unwinding offers a tension shaft with a 3″ mounting, also mounted on one side, other diameters are optionally available. The UA770 Coreless has a pre-feed unit with digital measuring system, optical media edge detection and an automatic cross cutter that automatically cuts the material to the exact length. The rewinding machine unwinds reliably, precisely and quickly from film rolls up to a maximum diameter of 400mm and unwinds exact short rolls up to a diameter of 100mm. In combination with the ConvertPlus control software, both master and customer rolls can be provided with individualised barcode labels that contain the run length of the film, item data and, if required, much more information. With the help of these barcode labels, the films can be scanned before a rewind job is carried out and thus the article data can be checked and the remaining length of the roll can be read into the system. This effectively prevents many errors in the rewinding process. ConvertPlus supports several ways to read in rewind orders – for example, by scanning the corresponding barcodes on delivery notes or even by fully automatic imports of electronic order data.
