The UA1850 E ADWS rewinding and slitting machine combines the economy rewinder with a working width of 1850mm with a professional slitting system with a working width of 1950mm, which meets even the highest requirements for precision and efficiency. This provides a true NEPATA solution for rewinding and cutting to length roll media such as plotter films, adhesive films, tinting films, sunscreen films, flock films and flex films, also available to smaller film retailers who have a lower daily throughput of individual unwinding and cutting, but who also need to produce exact cuts of tapes, tapes strips or simply customized roll widths. The UA1850 E ADWS – like all NEPATA film converting machines – rewinds media very accurately and still slits the rolls if necessary. In doing so, it has high ergonomics and safety for the operator and high productivity due to minimal makeready times and high web speeds. The winding tension is electronically controlled and adjustable. After rewinding, the film is manually cut to length on a cutting edge with dust protection. The slitting device has a pneumatic clamping system and two digital displays. It can be optionally equipped with a line laser for the cutting edge and NEPATA’s unique pad lubrication system. The machine is conveniently operated via a touch screen, which can be used to control all necessary operating modes and settings, and has a pneumatic clamping system for 3 inch cores (on the unwind 2 inch optional). The maximum diameter for rolls on the unwind is 400mm, rolls with a maximum diameter of 280mm can be rewound and slit. The maximum rewinding speed is 1.0m/s, the maximum reel weight is 25kg.
The UA1850 E ADWS rewinding and slitting machine is fully compatible with ConvertPlus software, which allows error-free control of all converting processes from your ERP system – with customer rolls and parent rolls (stock rolls) each receiving labels with the corresponding run lengths, widths and other data.
